The annual National Database Conference of China (NDBC), sponsored by the Database Technical Committee of China Computer Federation, provides a forum for sharing the research and exchanging ideas among the data management and database systems researchers. The 27th National Database Conference of China (NDBC 2010) will be held in Beijing on October 14-17, 2010, and is jointly organized by Renmin University of China, Peking University, and Tsinghua University. Other local co-organizers include the Institute of Computing Technology and Institute of Software both from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing Normal University, University of Science and Technology at Beijing, and Beijing Jiaotong University.
NDBC 2010 will mainly focus on the emerging research issues and challenges, and demonstrate the latest results achieved in the database systems community. Besides the traditional research presentations, the conference will also feature system demonstrations introduced in NDBC 2010 for the first time, Graduate Mentoring Program for improving paper writing and presentation, workshop on Cloud Data Management, and keynote speeches given by the world¡¯s leading experts in the database field.
NDBC 2010 calls for original research papers on data management and its applications, as well as proposals for tutorials and system demonstrations.
