High Performance Interconnect Network for Tianhe System

  • 摘要: 本文介绍了天河2号超级计算机的互连网络架构,描述了路由器和高速网络接口卡的系统结构;突出介绍了有效支持高性能通信的一系列软硬件特性:包括远程内存访问、聚合通信优化、硬件可靠端到端通信、用户级消息通信服务等,并介绍了硬件性能测试结果。

     

    Abstract: In this paper, we present the Tianhe-2 interconnect network and message passing services. We describe the architecture of the router and network interface chips, and highlight a set of hardware and software features effectively supporting high performance communications, ranging over remote direct memory access, collective optimization, hardwareenable reliable end-to-end communication, user-level message passing services, etc. Measured hardware performance results are also presented.
